A mineworker is fatally injured at Moab Khotsong in the Matlosana Region.
The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is deeply hurt and disturbed by the ever-increasing fatalities in the mining industry in South Africa. A mineworker was fatally injured at Moab Khotsong after he fell into the deep reef tip this morning. He died immediately after the incident. Moab Khotsong is an operation owned by Harmony Gold.

A CONSTRUCTION WORKER IS FATALLY INJURED AT CORROBRICK CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) in the PWV Region is shocked and greatly concerned after it received news of a fatal incident that took the life of one of its members at Corrobrick Construction company at its Rietvlei operations. A 29 years old deceased who was at the time on duty, doing a night shift on 16 May 2018 was apparently fatally crashed by the bricks in the plant at approximately 01h00 am.

Media accreditation for the upcoming NUM National Congress, 20-22 June 2018
The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) will hold its 16th national elective congress in June (20-22- 2018) at Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre in Boksburg. The theme of the National Congress is "Re-build and re-engineer NUM towards reclaiming its historical posture". About Us
The National Union of Mineworkers was founded in 1982.

Its birth was facilitated by comrades Cyril Ramaphosa who rose to be its first General Secretary, James Motlatsi who turned to be its first President, and Elijah Barayi who became its Vice President and later the President of Cosatu in 1985 when the federation was formed. porn
