The NUM Western Cape statement on the dismissal of twelve workers by the NMC Construction Company
The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) in the Western Cape region is angered by the dismissal of about 12 workers by NMC Construction Company precisely because they demanded safe drinking water. These workers are employed by Cape Town based NMC construction company and all are from Cape Town currently working on a site in Carnarvon, Northern Cape.
