The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) strongly condemns the escalation of systematic attacks on its members by alleged AMCU hooligans who are exploiting the strike situation with acts of crime and barbarism at Blybank in Carletonville. NUM is deeply angered that its members at Optimum and Kroonfontein operations have not been paid their salaries
The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) strongly condemns the bad and evil attitude unleashed by the Business Rescue Practitioners (BRP's) with regard to the non-payment of employees salaries in the past two months at Optimum and Kroonfontein operations. The National Union of Mineworkers was founded in 1982.

Its birth was facilitated by comrades Cyril Ramaphosa who rose to be its first General Secretary, James Motlatsi who turned to be its first President, and Elijah Barayi who became its Vice President and later the President of Cosatu in 1985 when the federation was formed. porn
