NUM Women's Structure Media Conference tomorrow.
The National Union of Mineworkers National Women's Structure (NUM-WS) will tomorrow on Tuesday, 14th March 2017 at 10 am hold a media conference at its Headquarters in Johannesburg.
The NUM-WS leadership will brief media on various issues pertaining to issues affecting women at the workplace. Such issues include education and support for young girls in schools, the current SASSA debacle which is an embarrassment to the struggle for women against poverty in the country, and the health and safety of women at various workplaces.
The NUM-WS will also use this opportunity to officially launch a programme on the distribution of sanitary towels to twenty-two (22) schools from the eleven (11) regions where NUM is organising.
