JUNE 12 is a deadline for media accreditation to the 16th NUM National Congress.

 

Due to high-security nature of the Congress to take place from 20-22 June 2018 at Birchwood Conference Centre in Boksburg. It is vital that members of the media apply for accreditation before the end of business June 12, 2018. The NUM will not be able to entertain the last-minute request for accreditation More than 800 delegates are expected to attend the conference locally and internationally. The ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the National Congress on June 21. Also scheduled to address the Congress immediately after the speech by the ANC President are the SACP General Secretary Blade Nzimande, Department of Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe, Energy Minister Jeff Radebe and Minister of Public Works Thulas Nxesi.

 

For accreditation purposes, members of the media can send their details i.e names, contact details and the name of the media house where they work to lmammburu@num.org.za, mammburuu@gmail.com, and lchilwane@num.org.za


Requests for accreditation will be acknowledged.
