Latest update on Northam Platinum strike

The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM)can confirm that it was engaged in a process to find a solution with Northam Platinum Management today. A draft memorandum has been developed by the two parties. The memorandum will be presented to workers at a mass meeting tomorrow morning at 10h00. The NUM calls upon its members to attend the meeting tomorrow morning.


Ecliff Tantsi, NUM Chief Negotiator at Northam Platinum said: "The parties were engaged in a tedious engagement to try and find a solution.
