NUM is deeply worried about RAUBEX GROUP targeting and dismissing its members

The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) in the Free State Region is very worried and concerned about the very primitive attitude of RAUBEX GROUP towards NUM in general, and Free State Province in particular. RAUBEX GROUP is a civil and construction company.

RAUBEX GROUP is busy with dirty tricks and tactics of union bashing and also in a campaign of dismissing our members left and right and we have many cases at CCMA and Labour court at the moment.

RAUBEX GROUP in Free State has strategically employed HR Manager who is tasked, with the assistance of private employer organization, to get rid of NUM in this company (targeting black employees)

"Their equity plan of this company is not transparent and thus we do not believe that there is one in place; including BEE status. (we doubt)
Black managers in HR department just disappear from the company without justification," said Tshepo Motsumi, NUM Free State Regional Coordinator.

"RAUBEX GROUP has won big and lucrative tenders worth billions of rands from our government but it is so cruel and anti-union. NUM is planning to engage government departments that have given these tenders to this company," Motsumi added.

We will also meet COSATU in the province to organize a massive march against this company here in Bloemfontein
