NUM Kimberley Region Press Statement
The NUM in its Kimberley Region held its Regional Committee (RC) Meeting from 21st to 22nd November 2013 at the Protea Hotel (Big Hole) in Kimberley.
The RC meeting is held as per the provisions of the NUM’s constitution and it is a second higher structure to the Regional Conference empowered to take organizational decisions.
This was the last RC meeting of the year 2013 and a thorough introspection in an endeavor to pave a way to the 2014 challenges was key and central to the deliberations
The following are the highlights of the RC:
We therefore vow to continue supporting our leaders at the national level in their in endeavor to find a lasting and amicable solution to the current challenges faced by our COSATU. We fully support the CEC’s directive in ensuring that the organization restores its utmost dignity.
