NUM Media Statement, 04 November 2016
NUM shop steward Norah Madolo murder case judgement today
The final judgment on the killing of the former NUM Shopsteward Nobongile Norah Madolo is today at Mogwase Magistrate Court in Rustenburg , North West Province.
It was postponed last month after a lawyer representing the accused complained that he was not paid the money that is owed to him by a union where the accused is a member.
Madolo was brutally murdered on August 2013 during South Africa`s women`s month. The suspect is also implicated in the case of the late and former NUM Shop steward Percy Letanang who was murdered in cold blood in November 2013 in Marikana .
We hope and pray that this heartless and cold-blooded killer will be sentenced to life.
The media is invited to attend and report
