NUM signed a 2-year agreement with Impala Platinum Limited (Refineries) .
The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) signed a 2- year wage agreement with Impala Platinum Limited (Refineries) .This agreement is effective from the 1st of July 2016 to 30 June 2018.
The NUM wishes to express its sincere gratitude to its members at Impala Platinum Limited (Refineries) for the manner in which they behaved during the negotiation period until they gave us the mandate to sign this agreement. Our members are excited and they gave us the mandate to sign this agreement.
1. APPLICATION OF THE AGREEMENT
This agreement is applicable to all permanent employees employed by the company from BL to CL
2. Wages

5. Shift Allowance
The parties agreed that the 4-shift cycle shift allowance will increase from the current 13% to 13.5%
NUM members at Impala Platinum Limited (Refineries) are quite pleased and excited that the wage agreement was concluded without any strike, violence, intimidation and loss of life.
