NUM to embark on a march in Mpumalanga

The NUM will be marching against retrenchments at Optimum Coal Mine and Umcebo Mining. Umcebo employees were given notices by Glencore last week on the 1st July 2015 that it intends to retrench.

The other issue is the dismissal of Koornfontein branch chairperson and secretary after a three months strike against unreasonable retrenchments.
