NUM to hold memorial service in honour of the deceased Venetia mineworkers

The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) will hold a memorial service in honour of the mineworkers who lost their lives in a horrific fatal accident on the 17 September 2023 when their bus collided with a truck on the R572 at Musina in Limpopo. The mineworkers were employed by Murray & Robert's operations in Venetia mine.
The memorial service will be held in honour of the following workers:
1. Andries Rakhotso - Developer
2. Epson Monkansi - Drill master
3. Israel Molelekwa - Developer
4. Given Khosa - Quality control assistance
5. Rirhandzu Mathomu - Quality control assistance
6. Martha Raletjena - Artisan assistant fitter
7. Kabelo Semetjane - Artisan auto electrician
8. Tebogo Maleba - Artisan fitter
9. Joseph Motsoadi - Artisan diesel mechanic
10.Ayanda Zituta - Artisan fitter
11. Cedric Mathibe - Artisan electrician
12.Wiseman Tabane - Artisan auto electrician
13.Siphelele Bangani - Shaft electrician
14.Mxolisi Mahlalela - Onsetter
15.Paulino Mhaguilunguau - Shaftsman Grade1
16.David Ngomane - Deckman
17.Selina Moyo - General worker
18.Thulani Mvila - Nipper
19.Boitumelo Maleshane - Deckman
20.Takalani Mundi - LampRoom operator
21.Sylvester Maruping - Artisan electrician
