NUM-YS to hold the Nelson Mandela Centenary lecture in Westonaria

The National Union of Mineworkers Youth Structure (NUM-YS) will this coming Saturday (18 August 2018) host a Nelson Mandela Centenary Lecture at Westonaria Sports Ground, next to Carletonville.

COSATU 2nd Deputy President Zingiswa Losi is expected to deliver a keynote address. The Young Communist League National Secretary Mluleki Dlelanga and ANC Youth League Treasurer General Reggie Nkabinde would deliver messages of support. The NUM- YS believes that the unity of young workers in general and Progressive Youth Alliance, in particular, is sacrosanct. It is within this context that we invite all young workers and other Youth Progressive Alliance to attend the lecture in numbers.

The NUM-YS send its deepest condolences to Zondeni Veronica Sobukwe, the widow of PAC founder Robert Sobukwe who died overnight in hospital. May her soul rest in everlasting peace.
